What bookkeeping services do you offer?

Encompass Bookkeeping & Consulting, LLC offers a wide range of business services including bookkeeping, financial reporting, business cleanup and catch-up, QuickBooks Online Setup, general business consulting, and marketing consulting.

How much do your services cost?

The cost of our services varies depending on the type and complexity of the work involved. We offer competitive pricing and will provide a free 20 minute needs assessment. A diagnostic review of your QuickBooks file accompanied by recommendations is available for a small fee. Pricing is tailored to suit your needs. 

Do you offer remote services?

Yes, we are currently located in the Florida panhandle but we offer remote accounting services to clients across the United States. We use secure online platforms to communicate and exchange information with our clients.  We currently only use QuickBooks Online and all new accounts must be converted. We can help with the setup!

How do I send documents?

You will be able to upload your receipts to QuickBooks Online using your company's unique receipt email address or camera phone via the Receipt Snap feature on the QuickBooks Online App. Documents may be uploaded to our secure portal or e-mailed depending on the sensitivity of the information being sent.

How do we communicate?

Communication will be primarily done through email or text message depending on what is discussed. We can schedule virtual meetings for in depth or urgent matters. We value our commitment to your business so phone calls may be returned at a later time when we have availability.

I'm a new business? Do I really need a bookkeeper?

Understandably startups have tight budgets, we get it! However, mismanaged books can result in costly mistakes, missed opportunities and even fines or penalties. You really can't afford not to. 

Why should I outsource my bookkeeping?

Outsourcing can save you thousands of dollars and hours of time. Outsourcing saves you on costly employee taxes, benefits, insurance and many more overhead expenses related to employing an individual. Not to mention the hassle of worrying about how long lunch breaks are, wasting time on the clock or someone calling in sick.

Will I have to sign a contract?

Yes, you will need to sign a letter of engagement where we agree on the scope of work, pricing and length of services. All terms are negotiable and will include a cancellation policy. 

What types of payment do you accept?

At this time we are currently set up to invoice through our booking platform HoneyBook. You will be billed according to our letter of engagement at the beginning of the period agreed upon. You can pay by ACH or Credit/Debit. We also accept PayPal, Venmo and Square.

My name is Elizabeth! I am the founder of Encompass Bookkeeping & Consulting, LLC. I received a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing in 2008 and a Master of Business Administration in 2009 from Southeastern Louisiana University. 

I have over 15 years of experience in business management working for medium to large size firms in various industries.  I have experience working with restaurants, manufacturing companies, engineering firms, and multiple types of service industries. My specific skillset is extremely useful to  businesses who can't afford to hire numerous people for numerous jobs. I have experience in all aspects of business from financial bookkeeping to marketing to process improvement. You name it, I can do it or find you someone who can. 

I have a passion for business and a keen eye for troubleshooting and problem-solving issues. I am here to provide you with the necessary tools to see your business grow.
